BREA, Calif. -
GoSMG.com is excited to announce our CEO, Jason Smith, has been
nominated for the Fourth Annual Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award
presented by the Orange County Business Journal.
The prestigious award, which is sponsored by Ernst & Young, Cresa
Partners, and Wells Fargo, acknowledges achievement and vision in
entrepreneurship within the Orange County, California area.
Smith is one of 60 notable business leaders nominated for this
year's award. Smith is hopeful to receive the award as he has been a
voice for young entrepreneurs, having articles in over 15 newspapers
nationwide during the previous few months. He is receiving media
attention because his story shows aspiring entrepreneurs how he
started his successful business. His six lessons for success are:
Test the waters, Get Educated, Find a passion, Do your research,
Define a niche, and Offer value.
Smith is moving toward a goal of restoring the fundraising industry
nationwide. He is speaking out about how some competitors have high
prices, large minimum orders, and return less profit to the
organization than they should. His company offers low prices, free
shipping, high profit % for the organization, and small minimum
ordering requirements.
The Fourth Annual Excellence in Entrepreneurship Awards will be
presented on March 8, 2005 at the Hyatt Regency Irvine, Calif. The
VIP reception begins at 11:00am, and the luncheon/awards
presentation runs 12:00pm - 2:00pm.
